A quality solar light for the base of the pyramid

d.light, a global leader in crafting portable solar lanterns for emerging markets, dedicated a decade to constant innovation and the introduction of new products. Recognizing the need for a cohesive product design and user experience across their portfolio, the solar lantern project was initiated. Our team spearheaded the creation of a new generation of solar lights, implementing a unified design language for both the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).

The journey began with extensive design research conducted in India and Kenya, enabling the development of a visually appealing and technically feasible look and feel. This approach resonated well with users. The launch of these new products allowed d.light to reaffirm its market leadership, with millions of these lights successfully sold.
